    First of all, I never leave bad reviews. But my husband made me realize that by attempting to widely share my experience, it might spare other couples the extreme stress that Woodstem caused us in the final months before our wedding. I was planning my wedding from out of state due to my job. We'd set up a time to speak over the phone to discuss my upcoming wedding. Everything seemed to be going well. She listened to my thoughts and made some of her own suggestions. It all seemed to be coming together nicely. She asked if I would send her pictures of what we discussed and to list exactly how many bouquets, boutonnieres, etc. that I would need and that she'd prepare a quote for me within the week. A month had passed and I still had not heard from Melanie, so I emailed her to follow up. She never responded to my email. I sent another email a week later but still did not hear back. I then decided to call Melanie and to my surprise she answered the phone. She said it is very rare that she answers the phone because of how busy she is and that I was lucky to reach her. She told me she had bitten off more than she can chew and how the assistant she hired was not helping the way she would like. Melanie assured me though not to worry and that her brides usually love how their flowers turn out. However, she chuckled and added "watch, you will be the first one I won't be able to do a good job for". She then went on to say that we really need to get going on ordering my flowers because by now I was only a couple months out from my wedding. This was very frustrating since I'd made multiple attempts to reach out without hearing anything back. The next day I did receive a quote from Melanie and an outline of what flowers she planned to use for different pieces. For the most part everything looked good. I did want to tweak a few very simple things, and sent her a couple basic ideas. However, the next day I received an email from her stating she believed we were on completely different pages, and it would be wise if I went with a different florist. I was shocked and dumbfounded. With it being so close to my wedding date I didn't feel comfortable trying to find another florist. I tried to see if there was some way we could continue to work together but then received an email stating she was not accepting new clients, which was crazy because I definitely was not a new client. I feel the experience I had with Melanie was very unprofessional and would encourage couples to look elsewhere to avoid a similar experience.

    I was very impressed with the quick response time to my email requests. They delivered an AMAZING bouquet to my room and my wife loved it!!! Great job! I am a customer for life.
